These terms are the agreement between you and Align (“we”, “us”) for use of the Align app and website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Align.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to a contract where you live. You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it, so keep your login details to yourself.
Align is a calendar for making plans with people you know. You create plans, share them with friends, and can optionally connect an outside calendar so your existing events appear alongside them. We may change or discontinue features over time.
What you write in Align — plan titles, notes, places, your profile, messages to hosts — belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to store it and show it to the people you have shared it with, so the app can work.
You agree not to use Align to harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone, to share unlawful or sexually explicit content, to send bulk unsolicited invitations, or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
Reporting and blocking. You can block anybody from your profile, and report a person or a plan from the same place. Reports reach a human. We remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we may do so without notice where somebody is at risk.
Align offers an optional paid subscription. The exact price, billing period and any free trial are shown on the purchase screen inside the app before you buy, in your local currency.
Connecting Google Calendar or Outlook is optional and you can disconnect at any time. What we access, and the one narrow case in which Align writes to your calendar, is set out in the Privacy Policy. Your use of those services also remains subject to their own terms.
You can delete your account from inside the app, in Settings. Deleting removes your profile, your plans and your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may keep limited records where the law requires it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Align is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and it is not a substitute for your own record-keeping — keep your own note of anything that genuinely matters. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Align after that means you accept the updated terms.
